Well, howdy there internet people, Litzboo again. So today we're going to talk about the Klamath

River again, a river that keeps popping up in coverage on this channel for various reasons. This time it's about water usage.

So today we will talk about the Klamath River, Water Usage, the Bureau of Reclamation, and foreshadowing, because we're about to see a

So on the Klamath River, there is the Klamath River Project, canals that take water to farmers.

Because of the drought this year, the project... to farmers.

On August 19th, the Bureau of Reclamation told the local entity that well that's it you've used your allotment you need to shut it down

the local entity said no and that they're going to keep making water deliveries.

Their justification is, well, they say that they believe that reclamation didn't provide a strong legal justification for their

federal order.

So they're just not going to comply with it. This is going to create some tense moments. This area is known for having some elements that are less than friendly to the federal

This tension is probably going to rise. Now the feds are in a unique

situation as well because not just do they have to worry about the normal things

when it comes to water usage.

This particular river has endangered species in it and those endangered species are incredibly important to a native culture that lives along the river.
