Well, howdy there, Internet people? It's Bell again. So today, we're going to talk about the

reports, go through the information that is available at time of recording, and go through the options

as to what may have occurred. Obviously, we're breaking with our normal schedule today.

If you have missed the news, there is a report from Ukrainian

officials that says Russia used in ICBM. Cold War kids just sat up in their chairs. The city is still

there. Let's start with that. For those who don't know, the ICBM is an intercontinental ballistic missile.

It is a class of system that is heavily associated with strategic weapons, nukes.

Though Ukrainian officials have said it was an ICBM with a high degree of confidence,

I think they rated it at 95%. Western officials are saying it was not an ICBM,

but a different kind of ballistic missile. Russian officials have not commented yet, and in a weird

development, a Russian spokesperson was caught on camera, getting a call telling them not to comment on it at all.

Okay, so what are the options for what occurred?

First, is that it wasn't an ICBM.

Ukrainian officials misread the signature and misidentified it.

That seems to be the position of Western nations right now.

It's a possibility. Another is that it was an ICBM carrying a conventional weapon. If you knew what

one was prior to this video, you probably only associate them with nukes because that's what they're designed to do.

However, they can carry normal conventional weapons. It would be incredibly costly, ridiculously

dangerous and frankly stupid to use one that way, even as some sort of weird flex. But it's not impossible because Putin has a flare for the dramatic.

The least likely option is that it was exactly what Ukrainian officials thought it was,

and carrying what everybody assumed and it just didn't work.

I say again, that is incredibly unlikely.
