Well, howdy there internet people, let's bow again. So today we're going to talk a little bit about the dreams of Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives.

And how Republicans in the United States Senate have decided that those dreams may not really be meant to be.

Republicans in the House have used a lot of inflammatory rhetoric.

They have talked about how the current president is breaking the law and doing all of these horrible things.

That has given rise to a push to impeach the current president,

which leads House Republicans to believe that now's the time to

impeach Biden or somebody who works for him, somebody he appointed, somebody.

They have to hold somebody accountable.

They have to create a scandal, a story.

They have to do something to appease their base who because of their rhetoric are now calling for

accountability for something.

Republicans in the Senate have a little bit of a different idea. Here are some quotes for you. I don't know. This seems like an extremely partisan exercise.

Senate minority whip... like an extremely partisan exercise.

Senate Minority John Thune said,

I'd rather focus on policy agenda.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee chair said that, well, he hasn't, quote, seen any evidence that would rise to an impeachable offense.

It does not appear that Republicans in the Senate are

willing to play ball. It does not appear that they are willing to politicize the impeachment process to the degree that House Republicans

seem to be very eager to do.

And again, that has a lot to do with how those running in the Senate, well they're

running in statewide races. They're not catering to a very small very red

district. They have to appeal to everybody if they catering to a very small, very red district,
