Well, howdy there internet people,'s about again so today we are going to talk

about the GOP plan to provide aid and what's it, what's not, and how their cost-saving measures stack up

when you actually do the math because in this package they are trying to offset the cost of the aid by

making cuts to the U.S. budget.

That's the plan.

Okay, so let's talk about the actual package first.

The GOP plan passed in the house. It is for $14.5 billion-ish. 14 plus, let's call it.

It is aid for Israel. The initial request was for aid for Israel and humanitarian aid for

Palestinians.

There's no humanitarian aid for Palestinians in this.

Realistically, that's probably the end of the conversation when it gets to the Senate. They're probably not going to

care much beyond that. But let's talk about the offset because that's their

big talking point. What they're trying to convince the American people of is that to

provide this aid to Israel, the American government needs to take cuts and they have proposed making cuts to

the IRS to you know balance it out so we don't spend more and so the deficit and the debt and all of that stuff.

That's the talking point.
