Well, howdy there, Internet people, it spell again.

So today, we're going to talk about the GOP admitting Trump's bill is bad for the working class.

Trump's one big, beautiful bill package, apparently wasn't big enough and wasn't beautiful.

As we discussed repeatedly at the time,

the giant package was a gift for billionaires and left many working class families out in the

cold, while the politicians tried to tell them it would help them. One of the things we brought

up repeatedly was the tax credits for the Affordable Care Act.

They were not extended in Trump's one big beautiful bill.

Even as working class families and the entire health care community screamed that millions would lose coverage.

Estimates came in and backed up what families were saying.

The loss of those credits would raise their premiums to the point that many wouldn't be able to afford it at all,

and others would strain economically to cover the massive premium increases.

Now, some Republicans are signaling they're going to start pushing to have those credits

extended. Better late than never, right? Of course, there's more to it. Many of those behind

the push are House Republicans who appear incredibly vulnerable in the midterms. Schumer

made a point of saying, quote,

three times this year,

Senate Democrats tried to extend the ACA tax credits

to keep coverage affordable.

And three times, Republicans said no.

Democrats won't stop fighting to lower costs

and protect families care.
