| 0:00.0 | Well, howdy there internet people, Let's Bow again. So today we are going to talk about the |
| 0:07.4 | FTC and non-compete clauses and expectations for the future. |
| 0:15.0 | I should probably start off by saying, |
| 0:18.0 | I think this is great. |
| 0:19.8 | The news, I think the news is great. |
| 0:22.1 | The FTC kind of put out a rule that basically got rid of, I mean pretty much all non-compete clauses. |
| 0:30.0 | Non-compete clauses have never made sense to me. I don't think an employer should be able to limit where |

| 1:32.4 | And then there's also another issue |
| 1:35.3 | when it comes to a constitutional aspect of the FTC doing this. |
| 1:41.9 | It is probably going to be argued that the FTC created a law. That they |
| 1:47.4 | don't really have the authority to do this, that they've overstepped their |
| 1:50.6 | bounds. And since it is a new law, well, it should have originated |
| 1:55.9 | with Congress. And since Congress didn't do it, it happened in the executive branch |
| 2:00.3 | under the FTC, well it's a violation of the separation of powers and will be |
| 2:07.5 | struck down. Should be struck down. That's how they're going to argue it. |
