Well, howdy there, internet people, let's bow again so today we are going to

talk about an inspector general report for DOD what they learned, how things are going with a certain program, how successful

it's been, where any lapses are, and how widespread it is.

Because this is something that when it was enacted,

there were a whole lot of people who were like, well, this is unnecessary.

Turns out maybe it wasn't.

So the Department of Defense instituted a program to keep extremists out of the military.

Over the last year, there were 78 service members that were suspected of

advocating the overthrow of the government. 44 that were suspected the The remainder of those were made up of people who advocated for widespread discrimination or they advocated for using violence to achieve their political goals.

So 183. That number is up from last year. But there is some good news that we'll get to here in a minute.

On top of the 183 there were 58 that were identified or suspected of having gang affiliations, which is something else

the military has been working to deal with.

It is worth noting that political extremism outnumbers gang affiliations.

So when it was all said and done. You're looking at a pretty large number here. Out of these 68 of these cases were deemed to be cleared or unsubstantiated. So you're talking about 173 that weren't. Now not all of these

cases are closed and finalized yet. Like as I go through this I'm sure everybody's

like so what's the good news? This is the good news.
