Well, howdy there, internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about the 2028 election.

I know, I know.

There's going to be a whole bunch of people who are going to say there's no point.

If you're thinking that, you are the intended recipient for this video.

And we'll get to that in just a moment. So hold that

comment for now. Democrats need to start campaigning now for the midterms and for 2028. Right now,

this minute, this second. It's not the ideal situation to be in, but it's the one they're in. They can use

this time to adjust their platform for something that creates voter enthusiasm. They can get

candidates lined up, start getting people who are impacted by Trump's policies to have early

buy-in and so on. Why should they? Why does this

matter? Half the commentators out there are telling you that there won't be a 2028 election.

Let's just say for a moment that really is the goal of the Republicans. And undoubtedly,

there are some who would like to see that.

If you spend the next two or four years building the expectation that there won't be an election,

you're working for them.

You're running their advanced comms.

You're manufacturing consent for it. You are putting out the message that it's hopeless. You are conditioning people to accept it. And it might be a self-fulfilling

prophecy. This needs to stop immediately. Even if you truly believe it with every fiber of your being, keep it to yourself.

If you're worried about it, you obviously don't think it's a good thing. Don't unintentionally undermine

morale or set conditions for it to be accepted. Your hot take is not worth democracy.

I know a lot of people feel bad and are worried and everybody is allowed to vent their frustrations. Just be aware of the effects it might have.
