So today we are going to talk about Tennessee's special election

and the results related to the Tennessee three.

For those who may not remember that whole situation and what occurred, it was kind of big news at the time, the Republican-dominated legislature up there in Tennessee. They decided

that there were three people that were elected by the people of Tennessee to be in the

state legislature, but the rulers of Tennessee to be in the state legislature but the rulers of Tennessee

those people Republicans you know who don't care about the republic

representative democracy all that stuff they decided they wanted to expel them. And then when it came time to take the

vote, they expelled the two young black men and did not expel the white woman.

Shock, right? I know you're super surprised by that the message they

were trying to send was incredibly clear you uppity folk better stay in your

place you uppity folk better stay in your place.

Okay, so they were expelled, leaving, I don't know, more than 100,000 people in Tennessee without representation for a minute or two, but those areas,

they decided to appoint the people who were expelled, Justin Pearson and Justin Jones, right back to their seats.

So they were interim.

But because they were expelled, there had to be a special election.

And now we are going to discuss the results. special election.

Justin Jones, he won his election with almost 78% of the vote.

That is a landslide by any definition.

There's no other way to frame that. That is a landslide. The only way you could

make it appear as if it wasn't a landslide is to compare it to Justin Pearson's win because he won with almost
