Well, howdy there internet people, let's bow again. So today we are going to talk about

subs, submarines, and Cuba and Jaws and media consumption.

We're going to do this because recently

some Russian ships sailed to Cuba.

And the media did its thing and played it up.

And it did create a little bit of anxiety among a lot of people.

So much so that I got messages asking me why I didn't cover it.

I did, just over on the other channel days before it happened last Sunday for those

that don't know we have another channel it's called the Roads with Bo and every Sunday there's an episode called The Roads Not Taken that covers topics that don't get a full video on this channel.

There's a whole bunch of other stuff over there, but for the people who watch this channel,

the Sunday episode is going to be the one you're most interested in.

And we talked about it last Sunday and said, hey, this was going to happen.

And during talking about it, I was kind of like,

and there's not much fear-ongering going on about it.

And I was very surprised by that fact, and it's almost like as soon as that video went out,

it started.

Here's the thing.

The... Here's the thing. The reason it gets played up, any time something sells to Cuba has to do with

something that occurred in the 60s. Has to do with the

the Cuban missile crisis. For younger people, that's why the media leans into it

because the media knows that older people they're going to make that

connection even subconsciously the idea of Russian warships,
