Well, howdy there, internet people it spell again.

So today, we're going to talk about some good you can do this weekend and why places need what they do.

If you watch the second channel, you already know it's that time of year again. I guess a lot of you knew this

was coming after seeing the tablets on the shelves behind me for the last few days. Just a real

quick recap, and then we'll get into what you can do to give yourself warm and fuzzy feelings

and help people out.

For the last seven years, we've done an annual fundraiser at this time of year and put

together gift packages with tablets and other goodies for teens who are in domestic violence

shelters over the holidays.

If you want a bigger explanation of why, the link to the other

video will be down below. This year, we bought everything ahead of the fundraiser to kind

to take the pressure off everybody, given the state of the economy. But we started collecting

during a video on the second channel on Thursday morning,

and by Thursday afternoon, we had exceeded the costs. So, what can you do? Down below, there

will be a couple of links. One is to donate cash directly to a shelter.

The other is their wish list, where you can order things the shelter has identified as things

they need.

The wish list prompted a few questions, and it might help to answer them, so people have

a better grasp of some of the challenges these shelters face.

Most of the items, like the food, clothing, and hygiene items are self-explanatory, but some don't click right away.

The questions were definitely curiosity and not accusatory, which I thought was cool.
