Well, howdy there, internet people, let's go again so today we are going to talk

about Russia and Putin and Turkey and eggs and birds and the economy and public health and how it all ties together

because there has been a development that is definitely worth paying attention to because it might have some severe effects

downstream. Okay, so to bring everybody up to date on why all of this is happening, the Russian economy

is not doing well.

There's sanctions, there's a war, it's not doing well.

One of the places where this is incredibly visible

is eggs.

Not just is there a shortage, but the inflation combined with a shortage makes the price really, really high. They're having a real issue with

eggs in Russia and this is something that is incredibly

noticeable. Putin is trying to portray an economy where everything is fine.

The eggs tell a different story. In an attempt

to alleviate the egg issue in Russia, the government there imported some, imported eggs from Turkey. And this was supposed to be a fix.

However, upon testing, it looks like one in five of those eggs

had H5N1 in the eggs, avian flu, and the bad kind of avian flu. I mean it's all bad.
