Well, howdy there internet people, let's bow again. So today we are going to talk about Russia and Ukraine. In North Korea, we will talk about the information that actually went out, then we'll talk

about the speculation that that information prompted, and the questions that the speculation prompted, then we'll move on to talking about something

that is probably more consequential, long term, when it comes to foreign policy.

Okay, so starting off, what's the information that went out?

The North Korean military plans on sending engineering units to areas of Ukraine that Russia has occupied to engage in

rebuilding. That's the information that went out. Over time, not a lot of time, that turned into speculation about North Korean combat troops, which prompted questions, which at some

point prompted a U.S. official to say something along the lines of, Putin will use

them as cannon fodder. I mean sure it's not like North Korean troops would be better

supported but it's worth remembering we don't have information saying that North Korea is sending combat troops.

They have sent supplies, they have sent arms, and it appears as though they might send engineering units.

That's what we have so far.

I wouldn't jump too far ahead on this one.

Could it happen later?

Sure, but that's not the current information.

As far as something that may prove to be more consequential on the foreign policy

scene, North Korea conducted a test of a hypersonic missile. It didn't go well.

But what they indicated was that they were looking for

multiple warhead tech. What this means is picture one rocket, but multiple warheads coming out and each one can hit a different target.

It's technology that a lot of powers have had for a long time if North Korea gets their hands on it.

That is far more consequential. That is something that the west and probably even China is going to look at very carefully.

It might not be the deterrent that North Korea hopes it is.

But it is, it's interesting that they said that that's what they were pursuing.
