Well, howdy there internet people, let's both again.

So today we are going to talk about how policy shifts take time,

how it takes time for policy to actually change.

And we're going to talk about the current political climate

and why maybe we should have a little bit more nuance when we're talking about big

policy changes and why it is incredibly important to mark the small wins when there is a setback when it comes to a big policy change.

And we're going to do this because a whole bunch of y'all asked the same question and interestingly

enough it was a question I had before I made the video and I actually got the

answer before making the video, but well we'll get there.

So in a recent video we talked about how there is a piece of legislation in the Senate and if it goes through

hedge funds won't be able to own single family housing okay and hedge fund means more than Hedge Fund. It's really just big investment

entities. And they have 10 years to sell off the inventory they already have. If it was to go through, that's what

would happen. That 10 years, when I heard that, I'm sitting there, I'm like, why would you let them profit off this for 10 years

But I didn't want to be like the person who sent me the message about how aid works and just not understand something, it gets super angry because of it.

So I called a friend who understands a lot about economics.

And as soon as he asked economics.

And as soon as he asked the first rhetorical question,

I realized why they're giving him 10 years.

I didn't include it in the video because honestly

I thought that was just a moment of me being like super dense and not picking

something up. But all but y'all had the same question so here's your answer.
