Instead, before we get started with that, though, instead of news around our neighborhood,

we want to take a minute to acknowledge the absolute heartbreak in our larger global neighborhood.

As we record this, it is the sixth day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

It is senseless and tragic,

and we stand with the people of Ukraine as they bravely defend their home and their democracy.

And we also wanted to just take a minute to share some sources that we found helpful in finding news or processing this, and then maybe some ways to help and give.

So what are you finding helpful to be looking at online or in the news these days?

What I have found helpful are a few podcast episodes that have helped me better understand the situation

in terms of the events that have led to this

happening and also to hear from people, Ukrainian people who are experiencing it.

Everyday civilians.
