Well, howdy there, internet people it spell again.

So today, we're going to talk about No Kings Day and Trump.

Most of you have probably heard something about this, either on social media in the comments

or through your own networks. But for those who haven't, we're going to go over what's happening

and how a bunch of different events are converging on Saturday. So, Saturday is the U.S. Army's

250th birthday. It's also Trump's birthday. Just for good measure, it's Flag Day as well.

Trump being Trump decided to combine the Army's celebration with his own celebration

and organized a massive parade featuring tanks and self-propelled howitzers rolling down the street,

the way you see in China, North Korea, and so on.

Saturday is also No Kings Day, which is a day of

demonstrations across the country. It looks like the theme of No Kings originated with the

50-51 movement. That stands for 50 states, 50 protests, one movement. While the idea might have started with 50-51,

it certainly seems to have taken on a life of its own. Currently, there are more than 2,000 events

planned for that day. The no-kings.org website says, quote, they've defied our courts, deported Americans, disappeared people off the street,

attacked our civil rights, and slashed our services.

The corruption has gone too far.

No thrones, no crowns, no kings.

All of this is occurring against the backdrop of rising tensions across the

country, especially in California and Texas, where troops are being deployed to counter demonstrations.

In a mildly surprising twist, let's be honest, not much is truly surprising anymore.

Trump supporters are apparently talking about no longer shopping at Walmart.
