Well, howdy there, internet people, let's bow again. So today we are going to talk about

New Jersey and the primaries and things that went as anticipated and a surprise,

something that we definitely need to pay attention to anyway.

And Trump, factors in here too.

Okay, so the primaries occurred up in New Jersey, the high profile one, the one that everybody was paying attention to, well that was the

primary to determine who the candidates would be to replace Bob Menendez.

That's the senator, the gold bar guy.

Okay, so pretty early on for the Democratic side of the aisle, it was anticipated that Andy Kim would win.

Andy Kim won. No surprises there. That's exactly what everybody thought was going to happen.

Now as far as the polling on the Republican side of the aisle I wasn't following it that closely and I wasn't paying too much

attention to it. Curtis Bishaw, Bashaw, not sure how to pronounce it, one. Why is that interesting? About

a week ago, Trump threw his weight behind a candidate in a race in Texas,

endorsed him, tried to get the other candidate to lose, and failed. When that happened because that was also a very high

profile situation, said you can't tell anything off of, you know, one incident, but it's something

that we need to pay attention to.

endorsed Glassner, the person who lost. You know, I mean, if I had a nickel for every time this happened, well, I'd have two

nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened twice this close

together. This might be the start of a trend. We have said for a

long time can't win a primary without Trump, can't win a general with him.

It appears now that it's not just people that are very well connected politically in Texas that can win a primary without Trump.

So whether these are isolated incidents or not, we don't know.
