Well, howdy there internet people? Let's bow again. So today we are going to talk about a story that has kind of fallen out of the national news cycle.

But when we were covering it before we said that there was definitely going to be

more more to it and that it would pop up again it's's popping up again. So today we are going to talk about

Memphis and the situation in the developments up there dealing with the five officers who were

charged in the death of Mr Nichols and the

the Scorpion team and all of that. Okay, so first the team itself.

It has been disbanded,

still haven't seen like an overt statement saying that they are abandoning

that concept, just that the team itself was disbanded.

Now, one of the more interesting developments

was some local journalists up there with W-R-E-G.

They did like good old-fashioned, you know, just information requests. they have found out that the DA's office has

dropped 39 cases related to this team.

13 of those were expunged and it looks like more had their charges lowered.

Now... their charges lowered. Now there will probably my guess is that there will

probably be more my understanding is that at this point they've reviewed about a hundred cases.

It is also worth noting that when the civil rights attorneys were up there. They certainly seem to get a lot of stories from the

community that indicated the behavior that we saw on that footage

wasn't exactly like a one-time thing.

And there is a high expectation that there are going to be more developments, more cases and other things come out of this.

It's worth remembering that the feds are also looking into a lot of stuff up there. So the Nichols case, what happened to him,

it fell out of the national news cycle.
