Well, howdy there internet people, let's bow again.

So today we are going to talk about Meadows and what's going on today, and by today, I mean right now, if I'm not mistaken,

if you are watching this right as it goes out

this should be happening now it should be starting right now. So Meadows is seeing his hearing today.

This hearing is going to be the one that kind of starts off the attempt to get his case removed from Georgia and sent to federal court.

Now in order for him to do this, really he just has to show that what he was doing was in the

course of his official duties.

And that's a pretty loose definition in this case, not really hard to do. The problem is that in one of his

filings they said that what he was engaged in was unquestionably political activity.

Under the Hatch Act, well that's not his official duties.

If he's in the executive branch, he's not supposed to be able to do that.

So the DA has a really good argument to stop

the removal. At the same time when the DA put together the indictment

there was a lot of information in there to provide context. A lot of the stuff dealing with Meadows, some of the

tweets as an example, they kind of seem to be within official duties. So there's a counter-argument. Now the reason this is

going to be interesting and the reason I think it's going to get a lot of

speculation after the fact is because we'll probably

get to see kind of like a little mini trial.

It seems pretty likely that the DA is going to kind of give a peek at what the prosecution is going to do during the actual trials later.

Now, Now it's worth noting because I said speculation. There's going to be a bunch of it and

there'll be a bunch of it today because the speed at which this stuff is going to occur,

this as an example is a hearing today about the Georgia case involving Trump, election interference, all of that stuff.
