So today we are going to talk about some of my recent videos

where I'm giving advice to Republicans and a question I got about why I am helping Republicans win all of a sudden. In a lot of your recent videos you're encouraging the Republican Party to become

more progressive so they can win elections. Can you please explain why you would

want to help them win? I don't understand and I followed you a long time.

Frankly, it's infuriating.

I do it for three reasons. One it's a statement of fact. If they want to win they have to become

more progressive. Two, I think it will work. I think it will work and the reason I think it will work is the third thing it's

the reason you're mad.

Why are you a Democrat?

Are you a Democrat because you like the color blue and donkeys?

You hold more progressive beliefs, at least theoretically that's why you would align with the Democratic Party.

If the Republican Party shifts and becomes more progressive, particularly on social issues, they

will stand a better chance of winning elections.

That is true.

But why are you a Democrat because you hold progressive ideals the

party is a tool to to get your ideas out there.

The problem is, and this isn't just you,

this is a whole lot of people a lot of people become so loyal

to the party that if the party shifts positions on something, well so do they.

That would happen with the Republican Party.
