So today we are going to talk about McCarthy's math

and Republicans bucking him in the House.

You know, ever since the whole idea of a Biden impeachment inquiry came up,

I've been like he doesn't have the votes. You're going to need congressional

approval and you don't have the votes. That's, that was all based on my personal math. I figured he

needed about 10 more than he had from the Republican side of the aisle to get

this moving. So he announced it without taking of the

The ten votes that I thought he needed. I was apparently wrong about that. I was

apparently wrong about that. Buck, Congressman Ken Buck, a Republican, who is definitely, he's not a moderate, he's also not ultra far right.

He was one of those people who very much played the political side of things.

You know, like he signed on to a brief about the election and then later was like no Congress doesn't have the power

to influence this like he's very pragmatic he also has a pretty good read on

his colleagues particularly those in the Republican conference.

Normally when he says something like this, he's right.

So my 10 vote gap that McCarthy needed to close?

I guess that's not right because Buck says

probably more than 20 Republican votes that would not have been in his favor
