Well, howdy there internet people? It's Bow again. So today we are going to talk about how politicians

at home creating talking points and messaging for a domestic audience in their

own country can oftentimes create a situation where they derail good foreign policy and because of their

talking points at home they miss the forest for the trees and they make mistakes.

We're going to talk about that and we're going to talk about how Iran might be about to play the U.S. in a really big way,

because the United States habitually

underestimates Iran.

Okay, so if you have no idea what I'm talking about, there is a back and forth going on in

Syria between U. and local groups that are

Iranian backed. In Western media you're probably going to hear the term Iranian proxy.

That's not right. They're Iranian backed.

They appear to be proxies because Iran is really good at backing groups like this.

They are top three in the world.

This back and forth is occurring. The groups hit a U.S. base, the U.S.

responds, and it goes back and forth. The media seems to be intent on making it seem as though this is kind of a new

development like it started last week. That's not true. This has been

occurring. That's not true. This has been occurring, if I had to guess, every other week for years.

It's not a new development.

There was a situation in which there were injuries and somebody was lost and that put it into the new cycle and most outlets are not providing the history of it.

Okay at the same time there is a quote feeling that these hits by these groups are becoming more deliberate and more

intense. Okay I really hope you're picking up the disdain in my voice for the idea that foreign policy decisions might be based on feelings,

but let's just take that and file it away for a second.
