Well, howdy there internet people, it's Bell again. So today we're going to talk about

Louisiana, the Ten Commandments, and a proof of concept. On the channel we've talked

about Louisiana's move to introduce the 10

Commandments to public classrooms in the state. We've talked about how the

Supreme Court has traditionally viewed the issue, the backlash, and the immediate lawsuits.

Recently, the state unveiled sample posters and there are some doosies.

We'll talk about one in just a minute, but first we need to talk about a

comment from the governor that isn't getting the recognition that it truly

deserves. First, the governor said to, quote, tell your children not to look at them when referring to the posters.

That's right, just look away.

You know, the way Louisiana Republicans do, when the times comes to use their

position to feed the hungry or heal the sick or any of the other things one might think that they

should support. The governor also

said the majority gets to rule. A common refrain on this channel that many

thought was hyperbole has been proven true. Modern Republicans

don't want to represent. They want to rule. They want to rule you, even down to a

religious belief.

Now on to the sample that really caught my eye.

It featured the 10 Commandments alongside the 10 dual Commandments from Hamilton.

Seriously, I'm sure that won't send any mixed signals.

They want people to believe the 10 Commandments

were this massive part of the founding father's beliefs.
