Well, howdy there internet people, it's Boa again. So today we are going to talk

about Wisconsin and the Supreme Court in Wisconsin, Justice ProteceiWitz, and the news of Republicans wanting to impeach the justice.

Okay, so what's going on?

Justice Protocewitz, she was recently elected by like 11 points.

It was a landslide.

This gave the more liberal side of the Supreme Court in Wisconsin a majority.

During her campaign she said that I believe she referred to the districts in Wisconsin

as rigged.

Jerry mattered.

Why would she say such a thing?

Because analysis by, well, everybody says that Wisconsin is always consistently ranked

is one of the most gerrymandered states in the country. It's not a partisan

statement it seems to be kind of an objective statement of fact. But there is now a case

that will be going before the court that has to do with the districts. Republicans are demanding that she recues herself and

they're saying that if she doesn't they're going to impeach her. So let's start with the impeachment thing first. In Wisconsin to

impeach the person has to engage in corrupt conduct in office or for crimes and misdemeanors.

I'm not sure that failing to recuse yourself from a case that you just identified as an issue, not that you

determined how you would rule or not that you have a personal conflict with or not that you took money over.

I'm not sure that that rises to the level of corrupt conduct in office.

So I don't know that they would actually be able to do it. However, the way it works there is if she's impeached,

well she is suspended basically until an acquittal or conviction.

So even though it might not work long term it might be against the Constitution of the state
