what we know so far, and aid.

The hurricane came ashore around Siesta Key, making

landfall south of Tampa Bay as a category 3. Then it moved inland over

Central Florida as a category 2.

Please remember a category 2 still has dangerous winds.

Multiple tornadoes were spawned across the state, including one in Palm Beach Gardens.

There was catastrophic flash flooding.

Large segments of downtown Fort Myers was flooded due to storm surge. There were well over a million people without power.
