Well howdy there, internet people. It's Bell again. So today, we're going to talk about how the

last chance to save Social Security is the midterms. For decades, watchdogs, non-profits, and

Democrats have been warning that if something isn't done, Social Security will run out of money.

They repeatedly said it will start with cuts, and then it will cease to truly function.

There is no shortage of quotes and sound bites. Those who care about Social Security watched with

dismay in election after election,

as those most in need of Social Security voted against their own interests,

and in favor of some establishment billionaire,

and a party that has wanted to turn Social Security into a privatized piggy bank for Wall Street.

In 2016, 2020, and 2024,

Trump didn't get a majority of a single age demographic until it got up to 50 and older. Now Trump's policies are shortening how much longer Social Security can continue to pay full benefits.

The 2025 Social Security Report predicted a shortfall of different parts of Social Security in either 2034 or 233.

The new report came out, and the shortfall is projected to happen in 2032.

When the shortfall happens, the payouts look like they'll be cut by around a quarter.

I think the exact percentage was a 22% cut.

And there definitely won't be increases to deal with the cost of living or the inflation Trump's other policies are causing.

Why is it moving closer?

It's directly due to Trump's policies.

Less immigrants means less people paying into the system.

Then the one big beautiful bill cut social security taxes for

some people. That means less money to fund it. If you voted for Trump, you voted for policies
