So today, we're going to talk about Heggseth, Metals, Warriors, and a random civilian.

So, we've gotten a lot of questions about a couple of different things dealing with HegSeth.

We're just going to go over all of them

together, so we don't have a massive amount of Hegg Seth news. The three items involve a social

media post of his, old Mendels of Honor, and of course, more questions about his meeting

with all of the generals. First is, quote,

Why is the highest ranking military officer in the U.S.?

Quote tweeting random civilians,

talking about the meeting, and comparing it to World War II?

This has to do with Hegeseth reposting a post

about German generals being called in in

in 35 and being told their old oath was invalid and they needed to take a new one to the leader

with the comment of cool story. Okay, so first, Hegeseth is not the highest ranking military officer. Secretary of Defense is a civilian

position. Second, and you have no reason to know this unless you were in the military. That's not a

random civilian. I know he just goes by Ben on his social media, but that's retired General Ben Hodges.

To get an idea of his influence, Hodges is an incredibly common last name. If you type General

Hodges into Google, it defaults to him. He joined in 1980 and left in 2018. So the interaction isn't that strange. I'm pretty sure

Hegg Seth was being dismissive of any comparison between his upcoming meeting with U.S.

generals and the one in the 30s. Now, on to the Medal of Honor story. And I went over this on the Rhodes episode on the
