Well, howdy there, internet people it spell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Georgia and New Hampshire, warning Trump and the GOP.

A pair of special elections sent the same warnings about the midterms to Republicans

that they've been getting ever since

Trump started enacting his agenda, and Americans started paying the price. In New Hampshire,

a special election for State House saw Democrat Bobby Bowdman defeat Republican Dale Fincher. The election

was for Carroll County District. The seat was opened up

after the Republican holding it resigned. That person beat Bowdoin by 13 points in 2024. This was a

pretty big swing in an area kind of noted as being a bell weather.

This district also went for Trump.

It looks like Democrats have now flipped at least 28 seats since Trump won in November

2024.

And it doesn't look like Republicans have flipped a single one.

The closest they come is a county office in Virginia.

That's pretty indicative of a nationwide buyer's remorse. The promises of the Trump campaign

have not been the actions of the Trump presidency. And it looks like voters are holding the entire Republican

Party responsible for Trump's failures, because they aren't opposing him to any meaningful

degree. Elected officials in the Republican Party have generally avoided pushing back on

Trump's bad policies, because they've been worried about

Trump using social media to inflame the GOP base against them. Maybe they want his endorsement,

but even if not, they wouldn't want a mean tweet about them from Trump.

And that brings us to Georgia.
