So today, we're going to talk about Trump's ballroom and free horses.

As the price of Trump's ballroom continues to rise,

and people continue to draw attention to the ever-inflating price of Trump's billionaire ballroom.

There's a talking point that is circulating on the right. That just cracks me up.

First, the timeline for the billionaire's playground. It started about July with an initial

estimate of 200 million. By October, it had gone up to 300 million.

Now in December, there's a new estimate of 400 million.

More than double the initial estimate.

This is the guy people voted in to control prices, huh?

Makes sense. Anyway, here's the talking point. Quote,

keep calling it the billionaire's ballroom. Just remember that not a penny of taxpayer money is going to that.

Um, yeah, that's why I call it the billionaire's ballroom. You think Jimmy at the feed store is

donating a hundred million bucks? No. Rich people are dropping the money into a pet project of Trump,

while he plays red light green light with congressionally approved federal funding at whim. Why? Are the super rich known

for giving money to politicians without wanting something in return? But beyond that,

let's dive into the actual talking point. No taxpayer money is going to that. Sure, Jan. So, if you don't know, we have a little

informal horse rescue here. We get offered free horses pretty regularly. But you'd go broke

taking in all the free horses you can get because the cost of the horse

isn't normally the expensive part.

You still have to pay for the feed, the vets, and so on.

Saying the ballroom won't cost because the building is free doesn't make sense.
