Well, howdy there, internet people people let's go again so today we are once again going to

talk about foreign agents and former Trump advisors because a situation has once again arisen.

And we'll go through what's there and what's not because this is one of those that's probably going to get a lot of

coverage but maybe not a lot of context.

Okay, so if you miss the news and have no idea what I'm talking about, a pretty prominent

GOP lobbyist by the name of Barry Bennett has gotten into some hot water with the feds.

Bennett, if I remember correctly, he was a campaign manager for Ben Carson,

then went on to become an advisor to Trump of sorts, and then went and

did consulting work, like lobbying stuff. Now, the feds have charged him with falsifying records related to the foreign

agent reporting thing.

We have talked about it before on the channel.

Foreign agent doesn't necessarily mean cloak and dagger cat and mouse espionage stuff. Sometimes it just means representing the

interests of a foreign power and at times that's legal. You're allowed to do it in certain situations if it's

disclosed and if all of the the teaser crossed and I's dotted.

Based on an early reading of the documentation that's available,

and this could change because more information could come out.
