Well, howdy there, internet people, it's bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about economic dangers, timing, and advice from the top.

With the market becoming more and more detached from reality and underlying economics,

there's more discussion about economics

and investing, leaving those circles, and entering normal conversation. Here's a question. Quote,

What do you think of trying to time the market? Isn't it true that the stock market always rebounds after a crash?

So it doesn't really matter, because eventually you'll get your money back. I've been listening to

a lot of big investor podcasts, and they're all basically saying the same thing you are. But they are saying it doesn't matter because the market goes back up after a crash.

They say fortunes are made and lost while others are still trying to time the market.

Fortunes are made and lost while people try to time the market that's true but i don't frame my

discussions for people trying to make fortunes mine are really for the middle class so does the

stock market always go back up after a crash?

So far, yes, that's true.

But there are a number of caveats to that.

You notice there's no time frame on that.

The NASDAQ peaked in March of 2000 before the dot-com bust.

After it collapsed, it recovered in April of 2015. 15 years. That's a long time.

But that's the NASDAQ as a whole. That's not necessarily the stocks you own. If you put $1,000 into Intel at the peak before the dot-com bust, do you know when you'd

have $1,000 worth again?

Also in April.

But of this April, the one that just passed.

It took 26 years to recover.
