So today, we're going to talk about Democrats smiling at Trump's Georgia victory. In the Georgia Republican primary, Republican voters went with Trump's pick for Senate,

but rejected his pick for governor. That dynamic is making Democrats celebrate. It shows that even Republican

primary voters in Georgia aren't completely following Trump. And by extension, that means that

independents are even less likely to do so. The winner of the Republican primary for governor is exactly what you'd expect,

another billionaire. From the Democratic side of the aisle, any candidate not endorsed by Trump

is seen as a win. But it was the Senate nominee that got Georgia Democrats excited.

The Republican Senate candidate is Mike Collins, a current GOP representative.

He now has to go toe to toe with the incumbent Senator John Ossoff, who is sitting on a pile

of campaign cash and wasn't subjected to a nasty primary fight.

There was a time not too long ago that Republicans had Asov targeted, and they saw him as vulnerable.
