So today, we're going to talk about why Democrats look like they're waking up to fight.

And we're going to go over a follow-up message from our gerrymandering expert,

who cited a Republican-created district to prove Democratic Party gerrymandering.

And while that's funny, I'm actually glad the person sent in the follow-up,

because I was thinking about how to demonstrate something,

and they unintentionally gave me the way.

So, let's start with the follow-up message. Quote, okay, you got me. Are you

going to say the same thing for Maryland's third district? Did Republicans make that? Look at this

and tell me how a Republican is ever supposed to win here. And then of course there's a map.

If you're active on social media, you've already seen it.

It's a very weirdly drawn map, and I'm pretty sure it was created by Democrats.

But I didn't really look into it, and we'll get to why in a second. Tell me how a Republican is ever

supposed to win here. You mean the district that voted overwhelmingly for a Republican governor

in 2014 and 2018? I don't know. Ask former Governor Hogan how he did it. Hogan also won the

district in 2024 in his Senate run as a Republican, but that's very

different.

I didn't look into the map you sent, the one that's going viral right now, because it hasn't

been used in years.

It's been replaced with a non-jerrymandered map.

This is twice now your social media diet has fed you a bad map.
