Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Democrats gerrymandering in Texas.

We're going to do this because I got a message and because the accompanying image is going viral.

It seems like it's important to talk about a Democratic district that is

obviously gerrymandered. So here's the message. Quote, you're sitting there talking about

Republicans in Texas gerrymandering and not even mentioning how Democrats gerrymandered their districts

too.

Look at Texas 35th District and tell me it isn't gerrymandered.

That's a blue district.

Not mentioning it tells me everything I need to know.

I'm dying to know what it tells you.

That I pass basic civics? That I know what gerrymandering is.

This viral image looks pretty gerrymandered to me. I agree. But I think the court disagreed.

It is a predominantly democratic district. I agree. But that's where my confusion begins. Do you believe that each party makes their own districts? How do you think this works?

I am so confused how you and everybody else who cited this district believes it shows democratic gerrymandering.

This is a Republican-created district.

I mean, can you think of a time when the Democratic Party had enough control in the Texas legislature to redraw the maps?
