Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Dillinger dropping his suit against Trump.

Hampton Dellinger, who is the head over at the Office of Special Counsel, which is the Federal Government's Watchdog Agency, and not the special counsel over at DOJ, has dropped his

0:23.2

suit to get his job back. Right after he took office, Trump terminated Dillinger without any stated

0:30.0

cause. Because the whole purpose of the job is to act as a check. The agency is supposed to be

2:01.6

And I don't think I could, in any meaningful way, pick up the pieces a year from now,

2:07.6

even if I prevailed.

2:09.6

The first reason really shows how much partisanship is at least perceived to matter in the court system. But it's that second reason
