So today we are going to talk about how Christmas came early to Ukraine.

Now with a statement like that, you probably think this has something to do with

like delivery of something to Ukraine before Christmas.

No, we are talking about Christmas, literally coming early to Ukraine.

Ukraine celebrated Christmas on the 25th of December.

Traditionally, celebrates it more in line

with Russia in the early part of January.

This shift, it's interesting to note for a whole bunch of reasons,

and it should be noted that I want to say I heard

first grumblings about this in 2017, 2018 something like that but it was probably around before that, about switching

the date.

Obviously, it can be read as a rejection or pushing back on Russian influence in the country.

The other thing that's really worth noting is that based on the reporting I've seen
