Well, howdy there internet people, Lidsboo again.

So today we're going to talk about California,

the situation that's going on there with the heat wave,

and the way it is being portrayed on social

media in certain circles. So if you don't know what's happening, California's clean energy isn't up to the task of handling its energy needs during the heat wave, which means they're using old dirty infrastructure.

The right in the United States has seized upon this as a moment to basically gloat,

for lack of a better word, and say, look, that clean energy stuff, it's not up to doing it yet ha ha ha ha they're having to

burn stuff using that old dirty energy ha good stuff, right? Okay, so when they use the old energy and they burn stuff, it creates

more emissions, which creates more heat.

It's a loop. This isn't a moment to gloat. This isn't a funny you know

Libs did something silly moment, this is a cautionary tale for you in whatever state

that you're in.

If you don't start now with getting your infrastructure up to speed with cleaner energy,

you'll be in the same situation.

This isn't stopping. This doesn't care about red and blue states on a map. That doesn't play

into any of this. Your state, wherever it is, needs to start making the transition now, or you'll be in the same situation

California is in later. This is coming. It's not slowing down. It's not going to stop unless we start to mitigate.

Unless we start to make the changes necessary.

This isn't a sign that clean energy doesn't work.

It's a sign that politicians beholden to the fossil fuel industry are slowing down the growth of infrastructure

to the point where we're still having to rely on the products of the people who fund their campaigns.

That makes a whole lot more sense, right?
