Well, howdy there internet people, let's go again. So today we are going to talk about

Biden and expectations about what's going to happen over the next few days.

And then we will answer a question that's just kind of a bonus,

just a happy extra thing to go over.

Okay, so, Biden will be in Europe,

and it's going to be there commemorating D-Day. It's the 80th anniversary, it's a big deal.

The expectation is that he is going to really lean into talking about the dangers of isolationism and talking

about the autocratic governments and how bad they are there's going to be a lot of subtext my

understanding is that he's actually going to deliver a speech from where Reagan delivered one

Which is from where Reagan delivered one, which is not something that Democrats normally do. So the trip itself, it has purpose in Europe from a foreign policy standpoint beyond commemorating D-Day.

Trying to sell American foreign policy is a big part of it.

But a large portion of this is going to be subtext for the United States domestic political situation,

talking about the dangers of isolationism, what Trump is a proponent of, and the risk of autocrats being in charge. So you're probably going to see a lot of

pageantry. I mean more so than you normally would on one of these anniversaries.

The good news for the Biden campaign is that if it lands it lands and they can get a win they can really they can get

some messages home here and if it falls flat they don't really risk anything.

It is unlikely that the former president, that Trump, is going to have any ill words to say about this given his history with these particular

anniversaries especially if I don't know it happened to rain when Biden was there and

Biden went ahead and, you know, did everything. So that's what you can expect, that's what's going on.

There are real diplomatic meetings going on at the same time as well, but I would expect a

lot of a lot of talking points designed for a US audience.

Expect a lot of clips and my guess is that the Biden campaign is going to try to put out some really
