Nika, I'm really glad to have you here.

I've been wanting to have a conversation like this for a while because I think that AI is

basically like the web.1.0, the web dot 2.

I think it is, it is really big.

One of your homies, one Mr. Brother Tech, Terrence games, he just ain't with him so i can't at all he's not he's he's oh he's like i'm not buying it to it yeah we talked about this last week in our show and i was like i'm into it but i have you know things to say as well but yeah he's not in it at all he's almost ladacious with it like he's almost like almost like leady. Like, I don't like technology.

He's not that way.

You have to do you have to do tears to no tears. Right. But I just really want to have a good conversation on this. And for folks who are wondering, this is the tech John. This is the, I will call it the holiday edition. I'm your host, Rob Dunl from Columbus, Ohio. and you're probably wondering, well, why isn't Nika introducing herself?

Because she's been on the show.

You've been on the show more than anybody else outside of the three hosts. You have co-hosted the show. I don't know 10 times

at this point. But everybody who is a listener knows Nika. But I'm, I'm introducing Nika because

I wanted to get her on.

So we can just have a conversation about AI because I think you probably know more about it than anybody else that I know personally because it's the field that you work in.

So Nika Monfort, AI, is it something that we should be worried about? Is it something that we should be

interested in? Tell me what we need to know about artificial intelligence. So the first thing

I think we need to understand about artificial intelligence is that it's been around for a really

long time. And honestly, the best AI is AI that you don't even know you're using.

Invisible AI, if you want to call it, AI that you don't even know that you're using. And a lot of times,

especially since the explosion of chat GPT, back what in 2022, AI has been a bit of a catch-all term for everyone.

And most of the general population, when you hear the word AI, you think of chat TBT.

And that's about it.

I think the definition is expanding a little bit more because of

some of the image generation, some of the video generation that we've talked that is kind of out there
