a verdict out of Georgia we're going to talk about the verdict in the case of you of what happened to Amal Aubrey.

There's a running theme right now going on in commentary that the justice system functioned as it should.

No, no, it absolutely did not.

It did not.

And I'm not talking about the verdict from everything I've seen the

verdict is the right one. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about

this incredibly inaccurate and to me pretty dangerous idea that the system functioned as it should

because it didn't it did not. A quick little recap, according to reporting, on February 23rd,

local cops were told by the Brunswick DA not to make any arrests.

And then a different DA is reported to have continued

that same line and continued to interfere on February 24th and April 2nd.

May 5th is when the video went out. That's when the public got to see that video.

Within hours, the D.A. The Atlantic DA had said that a grand jury would be convened and that GBI, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, was stepping in. That doesn't sound like the system functioned as it should. Not when you had a DA get indicted.
