But it's also you know even in an unscripted environment which AEW is you still need to have a little bit of structure structure and what happens is that Ricky stocks sort of says I'm not focused on you right now Adam Copeland we're talking to to Brian Danielson but Copeland was sort of talking over him so he can get in his little jibes about how like oh it's your silk shirts that are something or other you're just a vanilla midget

version of the rock you already said it's smoother than he managed yes because he stumbled over his words as he said as well and it was like stocks was trying to get his point across get his point across and then stocks was like oh you really sent me over the edge with that comment and then to the segment got itself back on track but I see people mean very down on this like Alvarez and Meltzer were really really like down on this segment and down on Copeland stuff and you said in the office you found it quite cringe yeah I just sort of found it just to be a bit awkward but it says it's the

it's sort of navigating the murky waters of unscripted where you are going from a world where you are like you say these words and you say them to the letter and you wait for your moment to say those words just be like just go out there here you're bullet pointing out and hit them that you can sort of find yourself into a bit more freedom and then you find stuff tripping over things yeah I mean it's it's it's there I feel I feel like there's something between your completely script every single word which makes things feel honestly quite dry and repetitive

versus completely unscripted you're out there with a live mic and anything could happen you do need that element of structure I think the problem with me with here what was happening was that it was very much like people were

stumbling over each other and interrupting each other not allowing each other to say their lines and get the cause they would be everyone wanted to have a last word and when you're all trying to have the last word it just makes it feel like it's not a sparring contest

the satisfaction when you're an audience member is to hear the joke land and and feel the moment so I think what it what kicked it off was the stocks and something about

Copeland being bug-eyed and there was like a whoa moment in the crowd and then Copeland had to get his line in about you're just a secondary it was you sat in shirt and you're just this

Oh it was it was a you were in satin shirts then stocks pushback being like well you didn't get styled from the other place he kind of have to have someone again good line also he's the heel he should be saying the bad things

so then Copeland comes back whether you're just you stole it off the rock and also you're of an illegitimate and he's stumbling over the words the whole time

and it's this thing of like first of all talking about someone copying the rock or Austin or or anyone big time is lazy and cliché to me it's lazy and cliché when Kevin Nash does it on a podcast about LA night and it's lazy and cliché when when Copeland does it here live and when the mist it it's yeah it's it's when when did you do that

mist was in the end is feed with LA night was like just a you're a big knockoff version of the attitude era and would list off all the people that he was trying to be in the attitude era

this is the thing the thing yes I the thing about that is you get a pushback like there's there's the scripted element of wonders that when does the pushback happen and it was the the character not

we all saw the character of the Miz and the insecurities in LA night had had a comeback in this moment because of the lack of structure

what's different is we've got the good guy saying to the bad guy you're a knockoff version of the rock stepping over his line stepping over his lines

and then the guy's not able to come back and and have a real other you certainly over the edge which was just a bit weird

I do find this constant referencing to who you you're like one oh oh no someone apes one of the biggest stars in the history of the business because

they were inspired by that and it worked and we like just really matter like Ricky starts has an awful lot on of his own that is is good LA night has an awful lot of his own that is good

and sort of points to these others so I just felt it just felt a bit weird it all was a bit weird I think there's an element of just being able to like
