So today, we're going to talk about a worried John Bolton, Trump and Iran.

Well, I think we can sum up the widespread perception of how ill-planned Trump's regime change operation is by the following sentence.

John Bolton has worries.

John Bolton, a man who never met a regime he didn't want to change, has worries.

John Bolton, a man who actually wants regime change in Iran, and referred to the recent strikes as, quote,

justifiable and necessary, has worries.

He sat down for an interview, and reading the transcript was honestly a little mind-blowing.

He was asked if he thought Trump fully considered the

consequences, and he said, quote, it would be different from his normal behavior, to say the

least, because he doesn't particularly think strategically. But obviously, something persuaded

him that he didn't have any alternative.

Some might say he saw the consequences of the negotiations with Witkopf and Kushner,

which were going nowhere.

Okay, pause.

It would be different if he considered the consequences because that's not his normal behavior.

I mean, okay, I agree, but it's weird to see it in print. Then the idea that the negotiations

weren't going anywhere would be funny if it weren't tragic. Trump the deal maker couldn't strike a deal

even though Obama could. Okay. After a while, Bolton went on to say, quote, I'm very worried that they have not done adequate consultation with the opposition on the ground in Iran.

You think?

They didn't coordinate with the on-the-ground opposition.
