Well, howdy there, internet people, let's bea again.

So today we're going to talk about a question from a parent and video games,

and challenges and

and this doesn't seem like it would apply to everybody but I think it might

so but I think it might.

So, with everything you've been covering lately, this seems trivial, but I don't really know

who to ask.

I'm a single mom, my daughter is 16, and she's always playing this game on her phone

where she's building a city and running a business in the game. She's asked for

Google Play cards for Christmas and I'm torn about getting them.

She's a great girl and I know that sounds stupid because she gets good grades and doesn't get into trouble and I'm sitting here complaining about her playing a game.

She talks about what her factories made like its real life and I'm worried that she's getting an unrealistic idea of what running a business is like.

She says she wants to set up a business online and sell her artwork on clothes and other stuff one day.

I just worry the game makes her think it'll be too easy.

I also feel like we're growing apart and the game is taking her out of her real life.

Any advice?

Ah. life, any advice? Ah, I mean, yeah.

You know, it's something that we as parents deal with, often our kids are doing something and we just don't get it.

We just don't get it.

Or we're expecting one outcome from it and it's really another.

Something entirely different occurs.

If this was me, I would get the cards.
