Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again. So today, we're going to talk about a judge, Trump, and power.

A Trump appointed judge in Texas handed down a ruling that will certainly be appealed by the administration.

Trump has invoked a law from 1798 to advance his deportation push.

The centuries-old law has only been used three other times, and because of its historical

final ruling. U.S. District Judge Fernando Rodriguez Jr. issued a 36-page opinion in which he ruled that Trump's use of the Alien

Enemies Act of 1798 was not in line with, quote, the lawful authority under the AEA.

He entered a final judgment and a permanent injunction. The AEA has only been used during wartime.

It has long been believed to only be authorized if there was an invasion or predatory incursion.

The proclamation does not suggest that they have done so through an organized armed attack,
