So today, we're going to talk about Trump losing GOP support over Iran.

As Trump continues to flail about making random demands and offhand comments that escalate the situation while he desperately tries to find

an off ramp. Republican lawmakers are looking at distancing themselves. Hours before Trump's most

recent deadline for Iran, with Republicans already clamoring for some kind of scenario where they can pretend like they didn't

elect to start a fight without a plan to win. Trump began babbling and escalating the situation

even more. Senator John Curtis of Utah said, quote, constitutional limits are in place to temper the president from unilateral authority.

I support the president's actions taken in defense of American lives and interests.

However, I will not support ongoing military action beyond a 60-day window without congressional approval.

Cool story, Senator.

You and other Republicans who are trying to distance themselves could have stopped this at any time,

but instead voted against those resolutions.

Trump posted to social media, quote, A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again.

I don't want that to happen, but it probably will.

However, now that we have complete and total regime change,

we're different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen. Who knows? We will

find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the world.
