Y'all, can you believe that tomorrow we start our 10th month of reading the

gospels together? I truly live for the messages that y'all send about how this has

changed you. Me too, whether it's your first month or whether you've been with

us all year, it is amazing to hear how listening to the gospels is changing

your life. Mine too. In October, we are going to go through the NRSV Catholic

edition. I have loved over the last few years finding the ways that my faith is

to protest and overlap with the faith of my Catholic friends. And yes, well,

there are differences. One of my favorite things that we share are the four

gospels. In fact, the NRSV Catholic edition is exactly the same as the NRSV that

we read in June. On Let's Read the Gospels, which I think is really cool. It's

been so fun to get on the phone with my Catholic friends and ask about their

experience reading the gospels. What version of the Bible they love and what they

read in their mass. The NRSV Catholic edition is the overwhelming favorite of

my Catholic friends. So whether you're reading in the NRSV or the NRSV CE, we are

on the same page. Literally, y'all, this is going to be so fun. So come on and

join us. What could God show us or teach us in these 30 days? No matter how you

feel about Jesus, where you are in that journey, we say this a lot around here.

You don't have to be in the gospels every day to be changed, but every day

you're in the gospels will change you. And I wonder who you want to invite to do

this with us. This is a great month to share this with a friend or put it in a

group text or or invite people on your social media. Put this in your story.
