The month of April is full of spiritual significance. Most notably Easter Sunday the

day the world celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Whether you are new to

the Bible or a seasoned reader spending time this month in the Gospels, Matthew,

Mark, Luke, and John is a great way to experience the story around this

global holiday. And this month we'll actually be taking a new approach during

Holy Week, that is the first week of April this year, the week between Palm

Sunday and Easter. We will be reading the Book of Luke. Starting on Easter Sunday we

will read the book of John and then we'll read Mark and then Matthew. And for

the first time this year we will be reading in contemporary language by reading

the message. We'll read three chapters a day and get through all four books in

30 days. This is a great month not only for you to jump in with us for 30 days,

but it's also a great month to invite your friends to join. So share this with

your people on social media and even in text or email. Many of our friends are

having spiritual thoughts and questions around these sacred holidays. Maybe they

like to hear the origin story right along with us. Maybe this can bridge them

into a life of faith or a practice of reading scripture or just a new
