Happy New Year, prayers of rest listeners. What a gift it is to step into a new year together.

I just can't wait to see and hear all that God's spirit will do as we gather to find rest in his loving presence.

As I mentioned last week, I am working on a brand new project called

Pray Through the Bible. It's based on a 66 verses collection from my new devotional praise of rest,

daily prompts to slow down and hear God's voice. We've been working on this project

for the last two months. And every hour that I spent in studio recording these daily prayers,

for one, it was just so encouraging to me to see God's love from Genesis to Revelation. And also, I was just

praying for every person that would be listening to this special podcast that we're developing

to kind of go with the prayers of rest devotional that is launching this spring.

As some of you know, the book was supposed to release this week, but because of supply chain

issues that many of us have just kind of come to grips with as our new normal in this world we're living in right now.

The book is not releasing until the spring, but I did want to give you a taste of the

prayers of rest daily devotional book. And so that's why I recorded this Pray Through the

Bible Daily podcast, and I'm making it
