There are lots of fun, but they also take a lot of hard work and training.

Right, Suki?

This year, warm weather forced a very important dog sled race to move to my village, Kaya.

And we have more snow.

Only we didn't find out until the last minute.

That meant so many lots of new people started showing up in town,

and they all needed a place to stay.

Plus their dogs.

Oh, and did I mention two-east hero also came to Kaya?

Oh, my mom.

That's right, the great dog sled champion Eugene Pike was in charge of the race.

I even helped Tulean his dogs train for the race.
