I'm David Rothkoff and I am coming to today from Venice, Italy.

In Washington, D.C. in the third sub-basement of the Ministry of Snark is Rosa Brooks. And in Palo Alto, California, of And we're sort of recovering from our coverage of the UN.

We want to talk about a few things that have been happening outside of the UN, since that's

been getting saturation coverage all week, including what's been happening in Washington.

And there have been a number of developments that have taken place in and around the Trump investigation,

some of which are sort of process oriented, some of which are more substantive.

Let me start with one of the process ones from a couple of days ago.

You know there are two White House lawyers and they go to a BLT steakhouse near the

White House but also next door to the New York Times.

And they start talking about how they're handling the Russia case,

and one is berating the other one for his handling of the Russia case.
